This month, the WSOP Main Event isn’t the only game in town; Bally’s Las Vegas is an official World Series of Poker satellite location, and it’s hosting the “Main Event Mania” series from December 10 through January 3.
The WSOP Main Event Mania series kicked off with $580, $1,100, and $2,175 Mega Satellites during the first three days, feeding into the 2020 WSOP Main Event which took place on Sunday, December 13. Following the satellites, were 32 official events, each awarding the winners with a highly sought after trophy.
As well as a full schedule of no-limit hold’em tournaments, there have been quite a few other variants including HORSE, pot-limit Omaha, Big O, Omaha Hi/Lo, Dealer’s Choice, Triple Stud, and a nine-game mix.
On December 30, a $2,200 High Roller is scheduled for 4 pm, and the series will finish up with a $1,500 buy-in Main Event. That $1,500 buy-in tournament will hold starting flights at 11 am on January 1 and January 2. The final players will return on January 3 to play for a seat at the final table, and a winner will be declared on January 4.
What we cover
Earn Points as a Player of the Series
Throughout the WSOP Main Event Mania, online poker players can earn points toward a place on the “Player of the Series” leaderboard. This uses the same point system that every WSOP Circuit does. The top player on the leaderboard will not only earn accolades, but they’ll also win a $10,000 seat at the 2021 WSOP Main Event.
