The M Life Rewards system program was set up by MGM casinos to give members a high quality loyalty system for use at a range of casinos and hotels. Whilst the large majority of MGM hotels and casinos are based in Vegas, the Borgata in Atlantic City is also a qualifying resort where you can gain and use M Rewards points.
The card is very simple to use and it ranks each member by tier, members can then move up to higher tiers with bigger benefits the more that they use the program. Today we will have a quick look into why M Life Rewards works so well, and what you need to know about earning and using them at the Borgata in Atlantic City.

Tiers
Earning and using your M Life Rewards will come down to what tier your membership is. There are 4 tiers which are Sapphire, Pearl, Gold and Platinum. Each tier brings with it additional percentage bonus on points, Platinum for example will offer 30% bonus whereas Gold will only offer 10%.
Different tiers also promise rewards such as discounts and room offers, with Platinum you could also count on a limousine service. A limo service could help you to avoid the Waze glitch which we reported that took Casino-goers elsewhere instead of The Borgata!
There is also Noir tier but this is by invitation only. Tier credits are given as you are earning and using your points, at the end of each year you will be assessed to see if you can jump to the next tier.

Earning And Using Points Everywhere
Earning and using M Life Points at the Borgata is not just about the casino, they can be earned and used throughout the hotel and its facilities. Hitting The Slots
Here at the Borgata you can earn some serious Slot Dollars which will be rewarded directly from the slot machine. These Slot Dollars can only be used during your next visit to The Borgata and they are only valid for 90 days after they have been activated.
Time Limits
It is important to understand that there is an expiry on tier credits. These credits are what will power you to bigger and better reward going forward. All tier credits earned between January 1 to December 31 will qualify for the tier beginning February 1st. On January 1st, all tier credits will be reset to zero
More Than Just Casino
The Borgata is way more than just a casino and earning and using your M Life rewards can be done in a number of ways. Understanding Ratio
Express Comps are a great way of converting your M Life Rewards into experiences and purchases at The Borgata casino and hotel. The ratio which you will get based on what you use your Express Comps on is important to understand. For example if you use them on accommodation, dining, spa or M Life Moments, the ratio will be 1:1. If however you look to use your points on Express Comps at The Borgata retails outlets or The Marketplace Eatery outlets, you can count on a slightly lower ratio of 2:1.
Finally it is worth noting that any inactivity for over 12 months on Gold, Platinum and Pearl members, will see all points and Express Comps expire.
