This year’s World Series of Poker International Circuit champion in the Main Event was also crowned at King’s Resort, Rozvadov.
The winner, Feyzullah, was crowned out of a total of 808 entries to claim the largest slice of the prize pool. WSOP Spring Online Circuit Ongoing
GGPoker has done its best to keep the customer entertained ever since the year started. The 2022 WSOP Spring Online Circuit is currently ongoing having kicked off on March 24th. The Spring Online Circuit is set to be completed on April 17th. The Spring Online Circuit is very similar to the Winter Online Circuit whose Main Event was concluded at the beginning of the year in January.
The WSOP Spring Online Circuit will feature 18 WSOP circuit rings that will be up for grabs. Alongside these prestigious rings will also be $100,000,000 cash prizes in guarantees to keep participants even more motivated. As is expected, the series will also include an array of side events and satellite tournaments that will ensure that the online poker players are entertained throughout.
The Main Event of the Spring Online Circuit will be the ones that the poker players look forward to the most. The Main Event is offering a chance for the final players to battle it out for the $5 million guarantees for a modest buy-in of $525. The first day flights of the Main Event will begin on April 3rd while the festivities will be concluded on April 17th.
With all these perks and guarantees on offer, the Spring Online Circuit is certainly one that poker players in New Jersey and the rest of the country have been looking forward to. WSOP has been through a lot in the last 3 years, having done its best to survive the challenges of a pandemic. In early 2020, the circuit was canceled as a result of the dire health crisis at the time.
The WSOP circuit was not allowed to return until an 18-month long break. The live WSOPC however, did not make a comeback until late last year in its 17th season. The 17th season debuted in North Carolina at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino on Thanksgiving Day. It is clear that the circuit was missed not just by poker players in the country, but internationally as well.
The WSOP circuits have always been one of the most important events in a poker player’s calendar. These well-organized circuits allow regional poker players to experience poker at a professional scale thus providing many opportunities for careers to spring and develop.
Will GGPoker Bring Bracelets to Ontario?
The iGaming market in Ontario is finally operational after years of waiting and online poker brands such as GGPoker will be right there to cater to the growing demand. WSOP has been very clear that the online circuit series, which was introduced as a result of the pandemic, is here to stay. Poker players have been looking forward to online circuits on WSOP.com every month.
WSOP announced earlier this year that it intended to launch its platform in the Canadian market. According to executives in the firm, WSOP Ontario would run on software that has been supplied by its partner GGPoker. Now that WSOP intends to launch its products in the online poker market in Ontario, analysts have been sparking debates as to whether the online circuits will commence in the new market as well.
When WSOP debuted its platform in Pennsylvania last year, the operator immediately organized a WSOP bracelet series. While no official announcement has been made yet, likely, online poker players in Ontario could soon be enjoying their own circuit events in the coming months too.
