WSOP bracelets are the most coveted prize, besides money, that a poker player can win. And every day this July, WSOP is awarding a bracelet to a winning player.
Normally, the World Series of Poker would be playing out in Las Vegas, but this year, players will take the game online. The WSOP has announced an online poker tournament in July, comprised of separate 85 online poker tournaments. The players will meet at GGPoker.com and WSOP.com.

Coronavirus Shutdowns Force WSOP to Change Plans
Normally, the World Series of Poker runs its world-famous pokers tournament series from the end of May through the middle of July. But this year, the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting shutdowns caused the in-person poker tournament to be postponed until fall.
The delay of the in-person tournament in Las Vegas deeply disappointed poker players from around the world, and in response, WSOP executive director, Ty Stewart, said that summer tournaments would continue, but online.
“While we’re thrilled to reopen our venues and optimistic about staging future offline events”, said Stewart, “we couldn’t be more excited about strengthening our relationship with GGPoker. We’ll be watching some poker history online this summer.”
85 WSOP Bracelets Up for Grabs Online
The WSOP Online tournament series is open to both New Jersey and Nevada poker players. Poker players in Nevada and New Jersey can play in one or all of the 31 events scheduled for July. Unfortunately, poker players in Delaware are not eligible for this year’s online gold bracelets.
As WSOP usually does leading up to its big tournament series, they will be offering generous promotions and reload bonuses. Players can sign up for WSOP bracelets events for just $1.
In addition to the coveted WSOP bracelets, $100,000 in leaderboard bonuses will also be awarded to the top players throughout July. The tournament events will be either no-limit hold’em or a variation of Omaha. However, 27 out of 31 events will be no-limit hold’em. While the guarantees for the tournament events have not been announced, it’s certainly expected that generous prize pools will be on the table to spark the competition.
Poker fans can follow their favorite players at Poker Central, including partaking in “virtual WSOP bracelets ceremonies”.
